Police have established a crime scene after a body was found inside a property in an outer Melbourne suburb.

The homicide squad is investigating the suspicious death of a man on Tuesday morning at an address in McCrae St, Dandenong in Melbourne’s east.

Emergency services were called to the address at 9.40am.

The unidentified man was declared dead at the scene.

A Victoria Police spokesperson told Daily Mail  Australia: ‘The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be identified.

‘A crime scene remains in place.’
