The bodies of a teenage boy and a man have been found inside a New South Wales home with gunshot wounds.
Both the boy, 15, and the man, 58, were found deceased with gunshot wounds in the property on Kookaburra Circuit, Yamba, northern NSW on Thursday afternoon.
Police from the Coffs Clarence Police District were called to the home at 1.10pm after reports bodies had been found inside.

Forensic teams began to examine the northern NSW property on Thursday evening after an apparent murder-suicide
Upon inspection, both bodies had gunshot wounds, police confirmed.

It is not believed that a third party was involved in the incident, which is suspected to be the result of a murder-suicide.
The 58-year-old man was understood to be a licenced firearms holder.
Police have requested the man’s licensing history from the NSW Firearms Registry.
‘About 1.10pm (Thursday 1 June 2023), police were called to a property on Kookaburra Circuit, Yamba, after reports two bodies had been found,’ a NSW Police statement said on Thursday.
‘The bodies of a 58-year-old man and 15-year-old boy were located inside the property, both suffering gunshot wounds.’
A crime scene was established, which will be forensically examined by specialist teams.
A full report will be prepared for the coroner.
