A man charged over the brazen daytime execution killing of a bikie associate has blood on his hands, NSW police say.
Marvin Oraiha, 24, was gunned down in the driveway of his southwest Sydney home about 4pm on May 22 – another in a spate of underworld murders.
Simione Sefanaia Lua, 22, was arrested and charged with the murder after detectives raided a home at Roselands at dawn on Wednesday.
The Edensor Park man made no application for bail when he faced Bankstown Local Court for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
“He has blood on his hands,” detective acting superintendent Glyn Baker told reporters on Thursday.
Oraiha had links to the Comancheros bikie gang, and police believe others were involved in planning and carrying out the murder.
“So you’ve all got blood on your hands and we are after everyone involved,” Baker said.
“No matter what your involvement is in this crime, you have blood on your hands.”
Lua was charged with murder, car theft, possession of an unauthorised pistol, and participating in a criminal group.
Strike Force Hackenburg detectives last month released CCTV footage of two men they want to question, as well as footage of three vehicles as part of an appeal for public information.
Two cars linked to the crime were found burnt out at nearby Green Valley and Bonnyrigg Heights following Oraiha’s murder.

Police then conducted six other raids at Edensor Park, Green Valley, Yagoona, Liverpool, Merrylands and Guildford.
They say they seized ammunition, an extendable baton, gel-blasters, a Taser, cloned registration plates, substances believed to be prohibited drugs, clothing, more than $3000 in cash, and mobile phones.
Investigations under Strike Force Hackenburg continue.
“They’re following lines of inquiry, they’re interviewing witnesses, they’re chasing down CCTV (and) we’re taking any information that we get from the public, which has been critical,” Baker said.
Lua is due to face court next on September 13 for a committal hearing.
Oraiha was a barber studying to become a project designer.
Oraiha had just said goodbye to his mother and sister, who had arrived at the home from the school pick-up, when he was shot.
A short time after the shooting, two burnt out cars were found in nearby suburbs, believed to be linked to the killing.
“I think it is as bad as it gets, it is an awful crime,” Detective Acting Superintendent Virginia Gorman said.
