Billionaire Harry Triguboff’s daughter has involved lawyers in a spat with an eastern Sydney golf club over strewn golf balls from the range landing in her backyard.

Orna Triguboff bought the $11.5 million property in Bondi in 2011.

She does not live there as it’s currently under construction, but she has filed a complaint to the Waverly Council about rouge golf balls coming from the Bondi Golf Club, which backs onto her property.

The heiress to the Meriton property empire brought in lawyers to negotiate with the council today, Waverley Council confirmed.

The second hole of the 18-hole range sits adjacent to her property, which is currently protected by a construction fence.

“Waverley Council is exploring fencing options for the site, including costings,” the council said in a statement.

“We have met with the resident, her legal counsel and club management to discuss what can be done to help improve the situation.

“We will continue to work with all concerned as we explore our options.

Bondi resident Marina Gupta said the rouge golf balls are “to be expected.”

“As long as it’s safe, then it’s ok,” Gupta told 9News.

Golfers at the range told 9News if it was their home, they wouldn’t mind.

“If there was some damage to the house that would be a bit of a concern, but if they just appeared on the lawn, I wouldn’t worry too much about it,” Adam Revai said.

“If you’ve got a billion dollars, surely you’ve got enough money to move somewhere else,” another golf fan, Mitch Williams, said.

Waverley Council said it has no plans to move the hole.
