Bears trading Justin Fields to Steelers in bombshell move

The Bears are making their quarterback situation clearer than ever.

Chicago is trading Justin Fields to the Steelers, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Pittsburgh will send back a sixth-round pick that can become a fourth-rounder based on playing time, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.

This week, the Steelers added Russell Wilson in free agency on a one-year deal and traded Kenny Pickett to the Eagles.

Now, they have another quarterback in Fields to give Wilson more competition.

The Bears, who hold the No.1 overall pick in this year’s draft, are expected to select USC quarterback Caleb Williams.
