A Victorian woman has woken to find she’s an overnight millionaire after scooping one of the top prizes in the Monday and Wednesday Lotto draw.

The Ballarat woman held one of the two division one winning entries in last night’s draw, with each winner taking home $1 million.

“I only found out this morning. I was just in bed, and as I woke up, I thought I’d check my ticket,” the woman said.

A Canberra resident or visitor is $1 million richer and they don't know it yet. The mystery entrant was one of 10 division one winning entries in Saturday's Lotto draw 4397 Lotto officials have no way to contact the new millionaire, who holds an unregistered winning entry and "must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize".

“I had a quick look and then I had to look at it seven times.”

She plans to use the money to pay off the house.

“It will just take the pressure off,” she said.

“I’ll still go to work today but I’ll have a stride in my step.”
