Two cars collided on Station Road at Deer Park at about 12.20am.

Three adults and three children from one were all taken to hospital.

One baby suffered life-threatening injuries, while a second baby and another young child suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did all three adults.

The driver of the second car, a 22-year-old Niddrie man, was uninjured and was arrested at the scene.
