The majority of Bondi Pizza’s Sydney restaurants have fallen into administration as difficulties that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic continue to impact the chain.

The eatery, which is owned by Casual Dining Concepts, has locations in Eastgardens, Randwick, Macquarie and Parramatta and is known for its thin and deep-dish styles of pizza.

The restaurant is now facing trouble after all restaurants but Randwick, which opened most recently in October last year, fell into administration.

BRI Ferrier’s Jonathon Keenan and Peter Krejci were appointed administrators last week.

Keenan said they were called in after “historic difficulties” that arose during the pandemic were not resolved and continued to impact the businesses today.

“We are currently trading the business and offering the business for sale while we explore options to restructure its affairs and provide opportunities for its staff to continue with the group,” he said.

“But we’re working closely with directors and managers looking for a positive solution for the business.”
