The secret sporting talent of Aussie cricket star Beau Webster has been revealed, with the all-rounder also a promising AFL player as a youngster.

Webster, 31, impressed in his Test debut against India, taking a crucial wicket, two first innings catches, plundering a half century before hitting the winning runs as Pat Cummins’ men sealed a 3-1 series win at the SCG.

Daily Mail Australia has uncovered footage of Webster showing his prowess with a Sherrin.

In the vision from 2011, a towering Webster can be seen collecting a loose ball, before bumping off a defender with ease and booting a goal from distance.

It unfolded in a Colts Grand Final, where Webster’s Kingborough Tigers were victorious against the Dodges Ferry Sharks.

Meanwhile, the man affectionately known as ‘Slug’ has confirmed the teammate he partied hardest with in Sydney – fellow cult hero Travis Head.

‘The celebrations were good,’ Webster told the Sydney Morning Herald.

‘We had a few beers in the SCG members bar. It was a great, great week and capped off with a brilliant night.

‘Trav’s always good [for a night out]. Me and him were going relatively hard on the beers. I was a little rough [the next day], as I think a few of the boys were.

‘It was a really good night sitting in your whites talking with the lads all things life. It was really special.’

Webster also confirmed he is a Collingwood supporter – but will flick the Magpies once the Tasmanian Devils join the AFL competition in 2028.

‘I am a big Collingwood fan, I love my Pies,’ he said after the fifth Test.

‘But I think when the Tassie Devils come in in a few years, I will be jumping ship.’

The towering all-rounder will also hope to be named in the Aussie squad ahead of the Sri Lankan tour, with the first Test in Galle from January 29.
