If you have any doubt that the current situation at the border is completely out of control- and if you do, where have you been during Joe Biden’s presidency?–this should wake you up.
Our immigration system is so swamped that people entering the country seeking asylum won’t have their cases adjudicated for 8 years. Assuming any of those people actually show up, which seems to be a pretty ridiculous assumption.
What I particularly love about this notice is how specific it is, down to the hour she is supposed to arrive. 7:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2031.

I’m sure that she has it on her calendar and is already picking out the outfit she is going to wear.
This is beyond absurd. This is an affront to the people of the United States, those few people entering the country with genuine arguments for getting asylum, and to every child who will be born between now and 2031 in the United States.
The Biden Administration and Alejandro Mayorkas are now just laughing in our faces. They are taunting us.

This is the third article I have written on illegal immigration in as many days. Not because I am obsessed with illegal immigration but because this is emblematic of everything that is wrong with the current federal government. The people in charge have no respect for the rule of law, the citizens of this country, or even the people they claim to be compassionately helping. There is a reason why there is a saying that “justice delayed is justice denied.” If this woman has a legitimate asylum claim, then it should be adjudicated promptly.
But nobody in charge cares about doing their job efficiently or well. The Biden clan wants to flood the country with illegal immigrants and is practically carrying them across the border to make it happen. It is as organized as the evacuation of Dunkirk.
Do we even have a country anymore? Or are we just going to hand everything over to the cartels and call it a day?
