Andy Cohen was worried about Kim Zolciak’s spending before she knew she needed to be concerned.
Andy Cohen’s Financial Worry
The Bravo TV executive spoke about Zolciak on his Sirius XM morning show, telling his listeners that he could see Zolciak’s money dwindling from a mile away. He even tried to warn her to be careful of her spending as Kroy Biermann was not an active football player.
“There are so many clips of me saying to Kim, ‘I am worried about how you spend your money. He is not a football player; he is a retired football player,’” he would remind her during reunions and at other events.
If fans remember, once on Watch What Happens Live, Cohen told Zolciak that she “can not” continue to spend, spend, spend, especially knowing she isn’t saving anything. “Kroy was a retired football player. They didn’t have the football player money coming in anymore,” Cohen reiterated.
Zolciak didn’t take the hint then; now, she’s in a bit of a financial pickle with the IRS in addition to her divorce from Biermann.
Money Is A Huge Issue
According to PEOPLE, a source claims that money had become a contentious issue for the estranged couple. “The million-dollar tax [payment] was too much pressure on them.” A source for PageSix said the same thing.

Financial issues “played a factor” in their marriage ending. While they still live together, they are not communicating and are actively attempting to avoid one another. Fans of the Don’t Be Tardy couple are dying to know what happened between them.
There was no infidelity, according to TMZ, but the former couple did unfollow one another on Instagram, and let’s be honest, that’s a massive diss in this day and age. Zolciak was even spotted without her wedding band soon after the news dropped.
Biermann has been dishing out the drama too. The former professional athlete used his Instagram bio to shade the life out of Zolciak. He claims his ring meant things and wasn’t tardy for the party.
Who Left Who?
The couple is also duking it out to stake a claim on who was the one who dipped out first. Zolciak was front and center when the news broke, and for some time, it seemed like she was the one who left Biermann and filed all the necessary paperwork.
Then Biermann came out with his paperwork claiming that he was the one who dropped Kim like a bad habit! He claims his divorce papers state an earlier file date. Biermann also asked for sole legal and physical custody of their four younger kids, Kroy “KJ” Jr., 11, Kash, 10, and twins Kane and Kaia, 9.
Kim did as well, and her two daughters, Brielle and Ariana, from previous relationships, are taking their mom’s side. The girls have unfollowed the man who legally adopted them and lovingly called him “Daddy Kroy.”
Cohen had expressed just as much shock as the rest of us when he heard that Kim and Kroy would be calling it quits, but as he said, he isn’t surprised it has something to do with money.
