That’s what friends are for …
Andy Cohen posted a sweet message of support for longtime friend Kelly Ripa, who has been receiving some mixed reviews for her and husband Mark Conseulos’ debut as co-hosts on “Live with Kelly and Mark.”
Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the 54-year-old Bravo honcho shared an illustration of Snoopy alongside the words, “KEEP your head UP!”
This week, the eagerly anticipated first episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark” starring the married couple garnered mixed reviews.
Viewers accused them of “fake banter” and being boring, while Ripa was slammed for talking over her spouse.
“I am so happy to see Mark & Kelly this morning….But Kelly could PLEASE LET HIM TALK….!!! OMG…!,” tweeted a fan. “Let him start and finish a story his way…It’s the only way it’s going work..”
Unfortunately, viewers’ opinions of the duo’s second day on air were equally mixed.

Many criticized Ripa for sharing an audio recording of Consuelos snoring, saying, “Most nights, that’s how I wake up. That’s my mid-evening alarm.”
She then flipped out her phone to play audio of her husband’s heavy bedtime breathing — a move that left many irked.

“Remember the days with [original co-host] Regis [Philbin] when REAL social & news issues were discussed? NOT ‘Bedtime eating & sleeping habits,’ or ‘We’re we walking or jogging in Central Park,” or many other mundane things that were conversed about! Big fail!!” one fan fumed on Twitter.
“Kelly Ripa is an a–hole playing her husband snoring,” another complained. “I’m so done with this show.”
“So you guys will talk about your marriage and life at home all morning,” another complained, while another opined, “Maybe you two need a reality show.”
However, not everyone slammed the pair.
“OMG! Is it me or has @kellymarklive been injected with a dose of energy? I totally enjoyed [former co-host] Ryan Seacrest but this new energy & chemistry with Mark Consuelos just hits different,” one enthused.
Another fan gushed, “I love seeing you two together! You’re a strong, loving, family-oriented couple and I enjoy you sharing your lives with us. I’m glad that Mark is now a permanent member of the show! God bless you and your family!”
Consuelos has been a guest co-host on “Live” for several years, but Monday was his first day as the permanent co-host.
He took over from Ryan Seacrest, 48, who announced his departure in February citing a desire to move back to Los Angeles and focus on “American Idol” and other projects.
Page Six exclusively reported that ABC had been seriously wooing Consuelos to join the show since last summer when Seacrest began talking about leaving.
Ripa and Consuelos, who met on the set of “All My Children,” tied the knot in May 1996 and share three children: Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 20.
