An amateur rapper in South Australia has been accused of inciting dangerous driving in the name of music.

Artist TKO’s latest video clip features burnouts and wheelies by learner and provisional drivers and motorbike riders on Seaford Street, which he claimed was “performed by professionals on closed roads”.

But 9News can reveal this wasn’t the case.

The local council said no applications were made to close the road and when 9News approached TKO, he changed his tone.

He posted to social media that he asked “people” not “professionals” to “bring bikes and cars” and what they do is “their decision”.

Police are now also investigating the matter.

“Notwithstanding it’s on a closed road, it’s reckless behaviour that can cause harm to people and we don’t encourage that activity,” SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said.

CCTV showed the group had also performed stunts on Dunn Street on Sunday, July 14.

Other vehicles can be seen sharing the road and a couple even walk past with their dog.

The video clip was all filmed in the middle of an intersection which is just metres from a children’s KinderGym.

Local workers fear it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

“You can hear the engine of it, so loud and so fast but then if I was to peek out and look at it you don’t see it. It’s just, ‘shwoom’, that fast,” resident Stacey Sullivan said.
