Ahmad Alameddine had been sought by police for about a month after he allegedly fled officers on August 3, jumping the back fence of his Greenacre home.
Shortly before 9am yesterday, police carried out an unrelated search warrant at a property on Bundock St, South Coogee.
They allegedly saw Alameddine, 33, jump out of a window of the unit and over a nearby fence.
Officers chased him on foot, but could not catch him. The search, including highway patrol officers, continued while the search warrant was carried out.
Police said Alameddine arrived back at the unit as they were finishing up, before he again allegedly fled on foot.
He was arrested near Gumara Street at about 2pm after a short foot pursuit.
He was taken to hospital under guard for treatment to a foot injury.
Alameddine is wanted over four outstanding arrest warrants for serious firearm-related offences, and a drug-related offence, police allege.
