Keltie Knight is exclusively taking Page Six Style behind-the-scenes of her prep for the 2022 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The “E! News” chief correspondent is co-anchoring the annual CBS special with “Entertainment Tonight” host Kevin Frazier in New York City on Thursday, and giving us all the deets on her holiday glam.
“Every year, people write me saying, ‘I can’t wait to see your coat!’ This year, I bought my yellow Kate Spade coat off Poshmark second hand,” Knight, 40, tells us.
“Yellow is my ‘power color’ and I couldn’t find anything new that seemed special enough for such a big day, so I went looking at all the re-sale sites. I love the faux fur collar, the gold buttons and it’s really warm!”
The “LadyGang” podcast host added that what fans won’t see on TV is that underneath the coat, she’s all layered up.
“I rock wool socks, big boots and thermal layers,” she shares. “And put warming packs everywhere I can!”
As for Knight’s favorite Thanksgiving Day Parade accessory, it’s one you may have seen her wear before, as it’s a piece near and dear to her heart.
“This day actually has a special piece of jewelry to go along with it. My first year hosting the parade, my husband [Chris Knight] surprised me in the hotel room with this beautiful Sydney Evan diamond ‘love’ ring,” she says, pointing out that she always uses Shinery jewelry cleaner before a big event to make her diamonds “sparkle.”
“It’s been my good luck charm ever since. I wear it every year.”
For her beauty routine, Knight tells Page Six Style that prepping her skin the night before is just as important as show day.
“The most important thing for the parade is getting my skin super healthy so that it stays plump and hydrated during the long day, and in the cold weather and wind,” she explains.
“The night before I have an intense pre-show routine that includes a Josie Maran scrub, St. Dennis Gross peel, Tatcha Radiance mask, the Sunday Riley Good Genes treatment, a Malibu treatment for my hair and a solawave red light therapy wand,” she continues. “I’ll sleep in the Bondi Sands self-tanning mask.”
Early Thursday morning, Knight says it’s “all about the layers” of moisture.

“I use Clarins V-Facial, Sunday Riley CEO Afterglow cream, EMBER wellness facial cupping to get rid of any puff from the night, Saint Jane serum and a layer of my favorite $12 skin cream ever, Weleda’s Skin food,” she reveals, telling us “the Victoria’s Secret Angels taught” her this beauty secret.
“Then I head to set with the brow mask, and the V-line chin lift mask on. I look crazy but it works!”
The former Radio City Rockette dancer tapped Karmen Haik and Jamina Lawrence to help with glam this year.
“They have been my NYC glam team for over a decade. We’ve done all the major events together from the Grammy Awards to the Met Gala,” she says. “Karmen really understands how to make my makeup last in the wind and cold weather. She knows my nose will run. She understands that it’s often so cold my eyelashes are frozen.”
Knight tells Page Six Style she wanted “super clean and pretty fresh makeup” for the parade this year.
They created the stunning look using kogendo moisture foundation, the Patrick Ta “Major Dimension” Eyeshadow Palette, MakeUp forever lip pencil in “Anywhere Caffeine,” Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand, Anastasia Brow Freeze and Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb.
“I’m honored to be a part of people’s Thanksgiving traditions. Hosting the parade has been one of my career highlights, and spending time with my co-host, Kevin Frazier, is a true joy,” Knight tells us.
“I hope everyone enjoys their day, in whatever that means for them – whether it be with family, chosen family, or like me, working and seeing the Radio City Rockettes at night!”
