The man who allegedly shot dead Comanchero bike boss Alen Moradian six months ago has been arrested in an early morning raid.
Dut Deng, 24, was arrested by task force detectives at a home in Fairfield Heights in Sydney’s south-west shortly before 4am on Wednesday.
He has been charged with five offences including murder, drug and firearm related offences, and participating in a criminal group.
Deng was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court later on Wednesday.
Police will allege in court Deng was the gunman in the alleged murder of Moradian, 48, at Bondi Junction, in Sydney‘s eastern suburbs on June 27 last year.
Deng was one of three men arrested overnight by strike force detectives in a major operation as part of Task Force Magnus.

Seven hours earlier on Tuesday night, police raided a home at Macquarie Park in the city’s north-west, where they allegedly seized 1.5kgs of cocaine, 900g of methamphetamine and a pistol with 23 rounds of ammunition.
One man, 27, was charged with eight firearm and drug related offences and participating in a criminal group.
A second man, 28, was charged with drug-related offences and participating in a criminal group.
Both men will also face Parramatta Local Court later on Wednesday.
Six men have now been arrested in relation to Moradian’s death, including the including the plot’s accused mastermind who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Taskforce Magnus detectives are due to to provide more details about the overnight arrests later on Wednesday.
The task force was set up in July days after Moradian was slain to investigate links between recent organised criminal activity across Sydney.
The latest arrests come weeks after police released CCTV of the incident.
‘Fathead’ Moradian was sitting in a stationary vehicle in an underground carpark in Bondi Junction on June 27 when he was fatally gunned down.
Police located a burnt-out Porsche several streets away and a burnt-out Holden Cruze in nearby Zetland a short later.
