Hilaria Baldwin is not one to sugarcoat things and she’s proven that many times. There’s no doubt that the past year has been challenging after her husband, Alec Baldwin, accidental shot someone on the set of his film, “Rust.” And now, his involuntary manslaughter charge is opening up a new can of worms. Hilaria spoke about how the family has been coping on her “Witches Anonymous” podcast in mid-January. She began by sharing that it has been an “emotional” time for her and her family, but she thanked fans for their “support” and “kindness.”
“Quite honestly I think without it … We would crumble. So thank you so much for being our rock right now … Because I don’t feel so strong.” the yoga instructor continued. Hilaria also detailed how her children have been affected by the headline-making incident. “Kids are sponges, and certain conversations are not always age appropriate … We cannot deny that they don’t feel the energy and pick up on certain things in the family, and at home,” she told listeners.

In the aftermath of the charges brought against Alec, he has also spoken out via his lawyer, Luke Nikas, stating, “This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice. Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun — or anywhere on the movie set,” Lukas said in a statement via Yahoo! Entertainment.
