Actor Alec Baldwin is sharing a photo of his youngest child after forgetting to name his oldest daughter, Ireland Baldwin, in a tribute to his children.
The 65-year-old actor welcomed the 27-year-old model with his ex-wife, “Batman” actress Kim Basinger. He married his current wife, Hilaria Baldwin, in 2012 and welcomed their first daughter the following year.
The couple welcomed their youngest daughter, Ilaria, in September 2022. Although she just entered the world a little over seven months ago, it looks like she’s ready to start walking!
Alec Baldwin Shares ‘The Latest Addition To Our Troupe’
On Sunday, the “Supercell” actor took to Instagram to share a photo of his youngest daughter, Ilaria, standing outside her crib. Hilaria is sitting beside her and looks to be supporting her back. In the caption, Alec wrote, “All of our children crawl, stand, walk, and talk early. It’s a blessing and…well, you know. It’s Cirque de Soleil here every day. Here is the latest addition to our troupe.”
“They are anxious to join in on the family fun! Once filled with love…it’s just ready..set… GO!! So, so wonderful!!” one fan commented. “She is just the cutest little girl ever!!” another follower wrote. “She is so tiny!” a third fan exclaimed. “Cuteness overload,” another follower shared. “Ay Dios mío!!! That smile. She is just the proudest little baby,” another fan shared.
However, not all comments were positive or supportive. “Isn’t she like 8 months old? It’s a completely normal time for her to be standing supported like that,” one user commented. “You are having too many children! Good lord. Stop,” another follower wrote, prompting fans to come to the defense of the Baldwin family.

“How sad must one’s life be to post negative comments/snide remarks on someone else’s page or to follow someone that you clearly don’t agree with or dislike? It’s disheartening to see so many miserable people. Get some therapy,” one user clapped back. “I agree. Only two days ago, the “30 Rock” actor took to Instagram to share a carousel that contained photos of all seven of the children that he shared with Hilaria. “Seven reasons to carry on during some tough times. I’m not gonna lie, without my family, I don’t know what my life would be,” he wrote in the caption. However, many fans were quick to point out that he was forgetting a child.
“Don’t you have 8 children?” one fan asked. “Guess Ireland doesn’t count?” another follower asked. “Why did you mention Ireland?” a third fan asked. “I’m sure your oldest is happy you left her out,” another user commented. “You forgot one,” another follower wrote. “Don’t forget your first cute cub, Ireland!” another fan exclaimed.
It seems that the actor was reading the comments on his Instagram post, as he quickly followed it up with a black-and-white photograph of Ireland. “We forgot Billy Preston! This one, the first one, is about to make me a grandfather. Oy,” he wrote in the caption. “Billy Preston” might be a nickname for Ireland, but it’s more likely that it’s a reference to how Billy Preston was often referred to as the “fifth Beatle” and often forgotten.
“She’s the best looking one of the bunch. How could you forget your first born? Yikes,” one user commented. “‘We forgot an after thought’? Awww come on. Even your caption wasn’t particularly loving or caring. So many ‘first marriage’ kids feel this,” another follower wrote. “This has to be a photo from ten years ago! She looks like she’s around 16 in this pic,” another fan shared.
However, there were some fans that came to his defense. “Leave him alone, he always includes her..it’s rare, when mentioning their clan that they don’t mention her. Coming from an Irish American family with six kids, heck, forgetting a name???! no biggie!!!” one fan commented. “Daddy would often use our dogs name Pepper in place of whoever he had forgotten..! The fact is, this family is all about their kids including Ireland…they walk their talk. Love fills each day, it’s a beautiful thing and leave them alone for heaven sakes!!”
