Alec Baldwin mocked for leaving his fly down during ‘SNL’ closing scene: ‘What a loser’

Alec Baldwin was the real laughing stock on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.

After returning to the show to impersonate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the 66-year-old actor accidentally left his fly open during the closing moments of the episode.

Baldwin stood with host Charli XCX and the rest of the cast for the traditional bow at the end of the show. He clapped and waved to the audience, seemingly unaware that he forgot to zip his pants.

But the embarrassing moment didn’t go unnoticed by viewers, who mocked Baldwin on social media.

“Alec Baldwin’s zipper was down on SNL. What a loser,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“Is he drunk???” someone else asked.

“Alec Baldwin just showing up in the outro for SNL while clearly fucked up and had his fly down, and he didn’t even do anything this whole show LMFAO what is going on,” another viewer wrote.

A fourth fan tweeted, “Hey @AlecBaldwin learn how to zip your pants!”

“Somebody tell Alec Baldwin his zipper is down!!” a different person said.

Earlier in the episode, Baldwin debuted his impression of Kennedy, 70, who was named the Secretary of Health and Human Services by President-elect Donald Trump.

Baldwin appeared in the cold opening alongside James Austin Johnson as Trump, 78, and Dana Carvey as Joe Biden.

“I’m so honored to be the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Americans need someone to teach them how to be healthy, like me, a 70-year-old man with movie star looks and a worm in his brain,” said Baldwin as Kennedy.

The sketch also poked fun at Kennedy’s vaccine skepticism.

Baldwin has now made two appearances on “SNL” this season. His first was in October when he portrayed Fox’s Brett Baier.

The father of eight infamously played Trump for years on the sketch comedy series. The role earned Baldwin a Primetime Emmy Award in 2017.

However, Baldwin relinquished Trump-duties to Johnson, 35, following the incident on the set of “Rust” in 2021.

The “30 Rock” star was charged with involuntary manslaughter after he fired a real gun that was mistakenly loaded with a live round, killing “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, and injuring director Joel Souza three years ago on the set of the Western film.

Baldwin maintained that he never pulled the trigger of the prop gun. He faced a maximum of 18 months behind bars for the death of Hutchins.

But during Baldwin’s trial in July, the judge tossed out the case and slammed prosecutors for withholding critical evidence from the defense.
