Greens leader Adam Bandt is gearing up for the debate like many of us – but he’s a little cynical.

He took to X with a message ahead of tonight’s broadcast on the ABC, taking aim at both parties’ lack of messaging about key issues like dental and negative gearing.

“It’s not a leaders’ debate, it’s a group hug as they take us further into housing hell,” Bandt posted.

“Here’s a drinking game: have a shot every time they mention negative gearing reform, dental, stopping coal & gas or taxing big corporations.

“You’ll stay sober as a judge.”

By the way, we don’t recommend you join Bandt in a drinking game.
