Liam Shipway and Charli Bushen, both 29, had been open about their pregnancy, but not how many they were expecting.
The couple, from Somerset, then stunned Liam’s brother, Tyler Shipway with the reveal.
The 25-year-old, who works as a care assistant in Exeter, drove 45 minutes up to Taunton to meet his week-old nephew.

Tyler Shipway, who works as a care assistant in Exeter, drove 45 minutes up to Taunton to meet his week-old nephew and was shocked when he found out they had twins
Tyler – who was dressed in a grey hoodie, cargo trousers and Nike trainers – looked astonished as he stared into the camera.
‘Whose is that?’ he asked, before realisation dawned on him and he exclaims: ‘you’ve had twins?’
He was still cuddling Oliver in his arms when smiled and said: ‘What the f***, why didn’t you say anything? Oh my God.’
Liam then carefully placed little Reuben into his arms alongside his brother as an emotional Tyler proceeded to ask the pair what newborns are called.
Tyler said: ‘When Charli started filming, I thought she was taking a photo so I had no idea what was about to happen.
‘I was completely shocked – they never mentioned twins. I was completely flabbergasted.’
Reuben James Bushen-Shipway and Oliver Liam Bushen-Shipway, now both five months old, were born on February 27.
Tyler added: ‘I’ve actually never been that shocked before.’
