Aaron Rodgers had a little fun with his new teammate and fellow Jets quarterback on Thursday for Zach Wilson’s 24th birthday.
The two have created a bond since Rodgers arrived in the Big Apple and that was on display with the way the future Pro Football Hall of Famer commemorated Wilson’s special day.
Rodgers, 39, posted a photo to his Instagram story with a cake emoji and Wilson dressed as Captain America, presumably from his BYU days.
“Happy birthday, little bro,” Rodgers also wrote in the post.
Wilson spent his 24th birthday on the field Thursday night as the Jets starting signal-caller in their preseason opener against the Cleveland Browns.
He had celebrated his birthday with his girlfriend, Nicolette Dellanno, and his family on Wednesday night.
Wilson begins his 24th trip around the sun in a much different place than where he was last year.

The arrival of Rodgers has moved Wilson from being the face of the franchise to New York’s No. 2 quarterback this season.
Rodgers will be the Jets’ starter when the season begins next month, but the coaching staff and Rodgers have been impressed with what they’ve seen out of Wilson through training camp.

The Jets’ new star quarterback also hopes his presence gives Wilson a chance to reset and improve.
“As much as anything, I hope that this time for him is like a deep inhale and exhale,” Rodgers said this week. “That he can really like take a breath and pause and sit with the disappointment of last year and the frustration and then channel it.
“I feel like he has, but just reach in and channel it to a positive and focus on the opportunity in front of him. To learn with a guy who loves him and cares about him and wants him to be great and wants him to do incredible things every day and to get better.
“Then just go be himself and look at this as a chance to reset. I think he’s done it.”
