‘A Working Man’ Comes to Digital, But When Will the Jason Statham Movie Be Streaming on Amazon Prime?

The new Jason Statham movie, A Working Man, is coming to digital tomorrow, which means you’ll soon be able to watch Statham beat the crap out of human traffickers from the comfort of your couch. Now that’s what I call entertainment.

Directed by David Ayer, with a screenplay written by Ayer and Sylvester Stallone (who also produced the film via his Balboa Productions company), A Working Man is based on the 2014 novel, Levon’s Trade, by Marvel Comics writer Chuck Dixon. The film stars Statham as Levon, a construction worker whose modest life is upended when his boss (Michael Peña) needs his help rescuing his teenage daughter (Arianna Rivas) from human traffickers. Apparently, Levon has a particular set of skills from a past life that will be useful in this situation. Also starring David Harbour, Jason Flemyng, and Noemi Gonzalez, A Working Man sounds an awful lot like Taken, but with Jason Statham instead of Liam Neeson. But be honest: Isn’t that a movie that a movie that you want to watch?

Of course it is! Read on for all the information about how to watch A Working Man online, and when we expect to see A Working Man streaming on Amazon Prime for free.

Where to watch the Jason Statham movie A Working Man online:

Beginning on Tuesday, April 15, A Working Man will be available to purchase on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon, A Working Man costs $24.99 to buy on digital.

Is Jason Statham’s A Working Man movie streaming on Netflix?

A Working Man is not streaming on Netflix and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is not a Netflix movie. A Working Man is an MGM movie, and therefore will likely go to streaming on MGM+, the premium channel previously known as Epix. Currently, MGM+ costs $6.99 a month, and there is a seven-day free trial.

When will A Working Man be streaming on Amazon Prime Video for free?

A Working Man‘s Amazon Prime Video release date has not yet been announced, but we do expect to see A Working Man streaming free on Prime eventually. Working Man is an MGM movie, and Amazon has owned MGM since the 2022 acquisition. The MGM movies have been streaming on Prime—albeit slowly. First, the movies go to MGM+, before they become available free on Prime.  (There have been some exceptions, such as the early Amazon release of Red One on Prime this week, in time for Christmas.)

Another Amazon MGM movie, Blink Twice, was released on MGM+ about three months after the movie opened in theaters, and finally began streaming on Amazon Prime Video for free about five months after opening in theaters. If A Working Man follows a similar release strategy, you might see A Working Man on MGM+ around late June 2025, and A Working Man streaming free on Amazon Prime around late September 2025.

But this is all speculation. If you want to watch A Working Man at home ASAP, you can buy the film on digital starting tomorrow.
