Myron Love had been holidaying through Asia when he boarded the ATR 72 Yeti airlines flight in Kathmandu.
There were 72 people on board the plane when it crashed into a gorge while landing at a newly opened airport in Pokhara on Sunday, marking Nepal’s deadliest aviation accident in three decades.
All of those onboard are believed to have died, with at least 69 bodies recovered so far.
“We would like to express our deep gratitude for the amazing support shown to us by our family and friends in this time of need,” the Bailey and Love families said in a short statement.

“Myron has been a rock to both of our families for many years and he has always lived his life to the fullest.
“He has put so much into his short life that most of us couldn’t fit into our lifetime.”
The families requested ”peace and privacy for us to grieve, and deal with this tragedy”.
The incident is Nepal’s deadliest crash in 30 years despite the country having a long history of aviation disasters, including 42 fatal crashes since 1946.
