4 women injured in wild NYC knife, hammer attack during neighbors’ feud: cops

Four women were hurt when they were attacked with a knife and hammer in a wild feud between neighbors early Tuesday, cops said.

The violent clash erupted around 12:30 a.m. on Essex Street near Jamaica Avenue in Cypress Hills, cops said. 

A 21-year-old woman was stabbed once in the shoulder, a 22-year-old was hit in the head with a hammer, a 23-year-old victim was stabbed once in the back, and the oldest victim, 29, was slashed on the right hand, police said. 


All four victims were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, and are in stable condition.

No motive was released for the attack, which authorities said appeared to be a dispute between neighbors.

All four victims were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.
