Balgowlah stabbing: Two people rushed to hospital

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake has struck New South Wales with the tremors shaking Sydney.

Geoscience Australia reported a series of tremors on Saturday morning including a 4.7 magnitude quake near Muswellbrook in the NSW Hunter Valley region.

‘Just felt ANOTHER earthquake – Sydney what is happening?! Third one I’ve felt this year,’ one resident tweeted.

Local Facebook groups in the city’s east and west were flooded with reports of the quake.

‘Western Sydney peeps, did we feel another little earthquake? My bed shook for a few seconds.’

Added another: ‘I swear to god I’m not making this up but i always feel like the only person in Sydney to feel the earthquakes, bruh’.

A 5.0 magnitude earthquake was felt in the same area of NSW a fortnight ago.
