A female passenger was taken into custody at Mexico City International Airport after she destroyed a ticket counter because the agent would not refund her money for a missing reservation.
María Guadalupe, 56, lost her temper after the flight reservation she made through a travel agency did not show up in the Volaris system.
Cellphone footage shows Guadalupe standing on top of the counter’s baggage scale slamming a computer screen to the floor after she was instructed to contact the agency to get her cash back.
She continues to argue to with the workers and at one point tossing a barcode scanner to the ground as shocked passengers waiting to check in their bags look on.

‘If you don’t want to, don’t give me the money back. I don’t give a f***. But that’s going to cost you,’ she shouts at one of the agents.
‘Don’t give it to me. But you pay for that, and if you don’t want to, it’s very nice.’
She then walks over to a second counter where grabs a screen and a keyboard and slams both to the floor.

A person can be seen standing by the counter waiting for Guadalupe to end her tantrum before escorting her away.

Guadalupe attempted to leave the airport before she was intercepted by Auxiliary Police agents
Auxiliary Police agents intercepted Guadalupe as she was about to exit the airport and placed her in custody.
An incident report indicated that she ’caused damage to an airline counter at the AICM (Mexico City International Airport).’
Online news portal Infobae reported that the irate woman destroyed four computers and four scanners.
The low-cost airline pressed charges against Guadalupe, accusing her of damaging equipment as well disturbing the peace.
DailyMail.com reached out to Volaris for comment but they did not immediately respond.
