A Virgin Atlantic flight with more than 250 passengers on board traveling from London to Los Angeles has been forced to divert to Canada.
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner landed at Goose Bay Airport, a Canadian Forces Base located in the municipality of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
A concerned twitter user questioned the airliner for a status on flight VS141.
Virgin Atlantic responded: ‘All impacted passengers have been notified of their reprotection options and can also be viewed when they log into ‘My booking’ on our website.’
The user asked whether they landed in Canada, with the company confirming: ‘We can confirm that the VS141 has landed in Goose Bay Airport in Canada.’
DailyMail.com has contacted Virgin Atlantic for comment.
This is a developing story.
