The Duchess of Edinburgh momentarily forgot Prince George was a page of honour as the royal family appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony, a lip reader has revealed.
Sophie, 57, appeared next to the Prince and Princess of Wales on the balcony along with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh and children, Lady Louise Windsor and James Earl of Wessex.
But expert lip reader Jacqui Press revealed that, as Sophie stood next to Kate, who was with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the concerned aunt asked: ‘Where’s George?’
Smiling at her royal relative, the Princess of Wales responded to let her know that George was on the other side of the balcony with the other pages of honour, at which point Sophie laughed and replied: ‘Oh yes!’
William also smiled and repeated: ‘Oh yes!’

The funny exchange happened as the King and Queen made their first Buckingham Palace balcony appearance following the coronation at Westminster Abbey this morning.
Meanwhile Prince George, who was stood with the pages, joked chatted to one of the boys about the loud Red Arrows.
One of the boys told him: ‘It’s loud!’ and George smiled as he replied, ‘yes’, Jacqui revealed.
The funny exchange came as George’s five-year-old brother Prince Louis once again stole the show with his animated display on the balcony.

The youngest Wales sibling looked on with excitement at the flypast of the Red Arrows as he stood next to his older sister Charlotte, eight.
He was also spotted waving to the crowds in a funny routine and pulling funny faces.
At one point, Jacqui reveals he said: ‘What’s those ‘copters?’
His father William then told his youngest son: ‘Wave.’
Louis’ first balcony appearance in 2019 saw the little royal wow royal fans, who were amazed by his behaviour at Trooping the Colour.
Louis appeared a natural on the balcony in front of the crowds and when the national anthem was played the toddler prince joined the spectators in clapping.
With his older brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, stood nearby with Kate he waved at the well-wishers enthusiastically, as did his siblings, and carried on waving as his father carried him inside
And last year, Prince Louis was hailed ‘the real star’ of the Queen’s Jubilee after his scene-stealing performance on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Royal fans took to Twitter to praise the ‘adorable’ royal after he pulled faces and picked his nose while watching the flypast alongside the Queen, 96, and his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Photos of Louis on the balcony quickly went viral, with some saying he’s ‘a handful’ and keeps his parents on his toes.
One tweeted: ‘Prince Louis looks like he might be a bit of a handful.’ Another posted: ‘What a cheeky little chap Prince Louis is, made me chuckle.’
