The desperate search for a missing 10-year-old girl has entered its third day, after the child disappeared in Sydney‘s western suburbs.

Tyrra Shearer was last seen at an address in Tregear around 5.30pm on Wednesday July 5.

Police were notified when she couldn’t be found or contacted.

A NSW Police spokesman said authorities hold “serious concerns” for her welfare due to her young age.

Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command have released an image of Tyrra in an urgent appeal to the public to help determine her whereabouts.

She is described as being of caucasian appearance with a slim build, ginger hair and blue eyes.

Tyrra was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, dark pants and white shoes with rainbow laces and is known to frequent Marsden Park and Tregear.
