Elizabeth Line trains did not stop at Stratford station last night and pictures and reports of the incident on social media show a person being treated by paramedics at the station platform.

Images show the platform covered in blood, thought to be that of the two boys injured in the attack. One person who saw the aftermath of the attack wrote on Twitter:’Stabbing on the platform at Stratford, avoid the area cos there’s loads of barriers/police now.’

Another added: ‘Avoid Stratford #ElizabethLine/Central Line Eastbound! Serious incident. I’m pretty sure from the amount of blood we’ve just had to walk through, over two platforms, it’s a stabbing. Hope they’re OK. Awful to see.’
