A truck driver has died following a crash with a V/Line train in Geelong.
Emergency services on Monday rushed to South Geelong just after 6.30am following reports a Melbourne-bound V/Line collided with a truck near Barwon Terrace.
The train driver was uninjured and it is understood the train was not carrying passengers at the time.
Victoria police said the driver of the truck received life-threatening injuries and was treated by responding paramedics.
Unfortunately the man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

The crash has disrupted morning traffic, with the Barwon Terrace level crossing closed, and commuters gathered on either side.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Transport told the Geelong Advertiser coaches would be replacing trains between South Geelong and Waurn Ponds stations due to the accident.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and a police investigation is ongoing.
