A tradie has been slammed online for committing three ‘disrespectful’ acts while riding the train home from work.
The construction worker was spotted sitting on a train heading towards Central Station in Sydney‘s CBD.
An outraged passenger snapped a picture of the man and shared it to Reddit on Tuesday showing the worker with his ‘filthy’ boots on the seat in front of him.
The man was seen putting his dirty bags and boots on the seat, leaving a sandy footmark on the fabric of the chair.
The Reddit poster claimed the man also broke two more train etiquette rules while on his trip home – ‘blasting Netflix on full volume’ and ‘vaping’.

The post has received over 400 comments, with many slamming the tradie for being inconsiderate while using public transport.
‘When you are in public you need to act like you are in public,’ one person wrote.
‘This means headphones when listening to something… keep your feet on the floor. Not on the walls, seats or other furniture.
‘If you can’t follow those rules, stay out of public.’
Another person commented: ‘My guy had a long ass day but regardless you gotta have manners and respect. That’s public transport, don’t f*** it all up.’
‘The biggest problem with public transportation is the public,’ a third person chimed.
However, others defended the worker claiming judgement should be reserved because he looks like he had ‘a hard day at work’.
‘Leave the guy alone. Probably his moment to chill after a long work day,’ one person wrote.
‘The real trashy part here is all the judgement… this human is clearly struggling and all y’all can talk about is how dare they get the seat dirty,’ another commented.
A third person added: ‘Maybe he’s going home from a hard day at work, doing a job that you’d consider icky or beneath you.’
‘I agree he could keep his feet off the seats, but you can keep your judgement of others who get dirty from hard work in check.’
