A tradesman has been busted masturbating at a busy bus stop in broad daylight after leaving a late-night drinking session at his boss’s house.

Kip Perrin, 49, was charged with exposing himself in a public place after he was spotted sitting on the ground pleasuring himself on Geeves Avenue, near Rockdale train station in Sydney‘s south west, around 7am on Sunday March 12.

Shocked bystanders called police, but as officers arrived at the scene, Perrin stood up, dressed himself, and walked away.

He later handed himself into police after a photo obtained by a member of the public and CCTV footage of the incident were distributed in a public appeal for information.

On Tuesday, fresh details about the married father-of-two’s lewd act came to light as he pleaded guilty to the crime in Sutherland Local Court.

According to court documents, Perrin, who is employed as a storeman on the M6 tunnel, told officers he spent the Saturday night enjoying dinner and drinks with work colleagues.

The festivities continued at his boss’s place, with Perrin leaving around 2am to walk home.

However, on the way, he decided to take a break at a bus stop – where he removed his shorts, sat on the ground, then masturbated for more than an hour.

Perrin initially denied responsibility, telling officers when presented with CCTV footage: ‘that’s not me, I’ve never done that before, but that is me’.

However, Perrin told the court he decided to plead guilty after reviewing the footage.

He will be sentenced at a hearing on May 23.
