A two-year-old boy has been killed after he was hit by a 4WD at a home in Sydney‘s north-west.

The toddler was struck by the car at a home on Wyoming Road, Dural, with emergency services called to the rural property at about 6pm on Saturday.

Despite desperate efforts from paramedics, the boy was unable to be saved and died at the scene.

A 38-year-old man has been taken for mandatory testing and NSW Police say he is assisting with inquiries.
