The View co-host, Joy Behar announced that she was

The View co-host Joy Behar made a shocking revelation on Tuesday’s show when she defended Republican Marjorie Taylor Green after the congresswoman claimed she was attacked in a restaurant by an ‘insane’ woman and her adult son in a restaurant.

Behar announced during the shows morning broadcast that she was ‘on Marjorie’s side on this one.’

‘I don’t believe that anybody should be going up to any of us in public and and harassing us and that goes for you too, Marjorie,’ Behar said though she did point out that Green is essentially condemning something she has been accused of doing too.

The outspoken television personality told audience members a similar experience that happened to her when she was confronted by an angry protester while out with her husband.

‘She does this and now it’s been done to her,’ she said. ‘I have to say I think it’s deplorable that anybody would do anything like that, including her and the person who did that to her.’

The right wing congresswoman appeared irate when she took to Twitter on Monday to share details of the ambush even calling the two agitators ‘demons.’

‘I was attacked in a restaurant tonight by an insane women and screamed at by her adult son,’ she wrote.

‘They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views.

‘They are self righteous, insane, and completely out of control. I was sitting at my table, working with my staff, and never even noticed these people until they turned into demons.’

People used to respect others even if they had different views. But not anymore. Our country is gone.
