At least one person across the street from Carl Schultz High School in the Northwest was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Fire department spokesman Larry Merritt said an ambulance was called to shoot the victim on Milwaukee Avenue and Addison Street.
Additional information was not immediately released.
Police filmed the crime scene at the Rami Chocana Ice Cream Parlour across from Schultz High School near Old Irving Park.
In 2019, a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed by a gunman standing in a corner near the school. In 2006, three students were shot across from the school.
