Vegemite-flavoured crisps have been recalled from Coles stores across the country over an allergy concern.

Calbee Australia’s Harvest Snaps in the Vegemite flavour was recalled nationally on Wednesday by Food Standards Australia/ New Zealand.

The recall is due to incorrect allergen information included on the nutrition information panel on the packaging.

It was discovered that product – which contains gluten – was not listed in the nutritional panel.

Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.

The recall only relates to the 200g size packet and those marked with best before dates between 28 August and 29 August 2023.

Consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
