Police are hunting a hoody wearing man after another male in his 20s was raped in a Newcastle bar.
CCTV of the figure was released by police in the north east today after the attack happened last year in the city’s Rusty’s Bar last year.
It unfolded at some time between 3am to 4am on December 30 when the victim was sexually assaulted.

Northumbria Police are now desperately trying to find the man in the footage in connection with the rape probe.
A spokesperson said: ‘We received a report a man in his 20s had been raped by another man following a night out at the bar on Times Square.

‘It was reported the offender sexually assaulted the victim touching him without consent before proceeding to rape him while inside the premises.
‘It’s believed the offender exposed himself to the victim outside of the venue before sexually assaulting him and leaving the area.
‘The incident was later reported to police and an investigation was launched by detectives from our Safeguarding Department.
‘The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers. A wide range of enquiries have been carried out, including a review of CCTV.
‘As part of their extensive enquiries, we have today issued the image of a man they would like to speak to.
‘It’s believed he was in the area at the time of the incident and could have info.
