A pediatrician was found unresponsive with his throat slashed and multiple stab wounds inside a Manhattan park. 

Bruce Maurice Henry, 60, of the Bronx, was found inside Marcus Garvey Park near the 120th Street and Madison Avenue stairwell shortly after 2am on Friday. 

A passerby discovered the doctor at 2.15am near Harlem Fire Watchtower with no weapons near the scene, the New York Daily News (NYDN) reported. 

Authorities pronounced him dead around 3am. 

Police have not offered any more information regarding the horrific crime scene and the ‘investigation is ongoing.’ No arrests have been made.  

There are no cameras in the 20-acre park and police are searching for a video of him entering the park, a source told the NYDN. 

Police are also trying to determine if he entered the park alone or with another person.  

The park is known for its drug problem and for prostitution. 

New York City crime has been rising significantly within the last few years, with overall crime up 24 percent, as of December 11. 

Assaults, rape, and robbery are up between nearly eight percent and 27.65 percent, whereas, murder is actually 11.4 percent.
