An Aussie bloke will continue working despite winning $2.5million in last Saturday’s Lotto Draw draw.
The ticket was purchased from Here’s Luck Lottery Centre in Cloverdale, Western Australia and matched the winning numbers for a Division One prize of more than $2.5 million.
The winner said he sat down for his Sunday morning coffee and decided to check his ticket, realising that line 10 contained all six winning numbers.
‘I checked the ticket about 300 times to make sure the numbers didn’t change,’ the ticket holder said.
‘Now I know it’s not a joke or a dream.’

While the win is still sinking in, the winner shared plans of chasing the sun and spending his winter overseas, in between continuing to work and keep busy.
Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said the good news for WA continues, with a Monday Lotto win lifting Western Australia’s Division One winners tally in 2023 to 43. ‘A Monday Lotto ticket from Sea Change News in Dunsborough is now worth $1 million,’ she said
‘This year, more than $130 million in Division One prizes has been won be West Aussies, with this week offering up another $130 million to be won, thanks to Powerball and Saturday Lotto.’
Powerball has jackpotted to $100 million for this Thursday’s draw, followed by Saturday Lotto’s $30 million Megadraw on the weekend.
Tickets are available in-store, online and via the app before 6pm day of draw.
