Valve has confirmed that the release date for the 2022 International 11 Dota 2 Battle Pass is set for Thursday, September 1, 2022.

This is the date when players can get their first look at all the plans for this year’s major esports events, including new features, exclusive rewards, and more.

Contrary to the date, the price of Dota 2 Battle Pass 2022 has not been announced, with the previous version priced between $9.99 and $44.99. Things may be different this year, although fans can still expect to increase Ti11’s prize pool if they buy the bundle.

During The International 10, 25% of all Battle Pass sales go directly to the prize pool, with a final prize of over $40,018,195. An update from the Valve team on the new Battle Pass is: “As The International draws near, so is one of Dota’s most anticipated features. Mark your calendars, as the 2022 Battle Pass will be released on September 1st.”

More information on what rewards will be included in the new Battle Pass is expected to be released on September 1st as part of the official launch. The new pass is expected to run for several months, with International 11 taking place in Singapore in October 2022.

This is the first time an eSports event will take place in Southeast Asia, and it is confirmed that there will be four consecutive weekends of Dota competition with 30 teams from around the world participating. Valve has confirmed that this will be the biggest Dota event to date, and fans are hoping they’ll be able to match it by offering a dedicated battle pass.

Another message from Valve detailed some of the changes to the regular formula, adding: “Last Chance qualifiers will take place October 8-12, group stage will be October 15-18 – 20 teams Teams compete for the Main Square event.

“Then, the teams from the qualifiers will go head-to-head in the playoffs at Singapore’s New Tektronix on October 20-23, when the competition will be even more intense. The Survivors will be on October 29-30 at The Shield of Champions will be at stake when the Singapore Indoor Stadium advances to the final.”
