Men are slower off the mark in the mornings than women, with nearly seven-in-ten needing up to an hour to get ready after waking up.
A survey of 2,000 Brits found that 67 per cent of men needed between 30-59 mins before they could be ready to leave the house.
By comparison, 59 per cent of women said they needed the same time period to brush their teeth, shower, dress, do their make-up and hair, and have brekkie.
Just 11 per cent of blokes said they could be ready in 30 minutes or less, compared to 8 per cent of women who said they could be out the door in under half-an-hour of waking.
The study by fast Food brand LEON to promote its breakfast range found that 23 per cent of men and 22 per cent of women said they required between 1-2 hours to get ready.

Taking it to extremes, 4 per cent of blokes said they needed 3-4 hours to prepare themselves of the day, with 3 per cent of women saying the same.
Peter Lomas, 28, a strategy consultant, of Cromer, Norfolk, said he liked to have at least two hours to get ready in the mornings.
He said: ‘I hate being rushed in the mornings.
‘I like to get up two hours before I need to leave the house, so I can take my time shaving, styling my hair, moisturising after a shower and maybe doing a bit of manscaping.’
He added ‘I take a good half-hour for breakfast, brushing my teeth before and after, although I always choose my outfit for the next day last thing at night, so that cuts down on time deciding in the morning.’
Cathy Brockley, 31, of St Albans, Hertfordshire, said she could be ready for work within 30 minutes.
The auditor said: ‘As soon as my alarm goes at 8am, I’m up like a shot and jump in the shower.
‘I brush my teeth in the shower, then a quick dry, some mousse in my hair and ruffle it up – a touch of mascara and lippie and then breakfast of marmalade on toast with a cup of tea.
She added: ‘The fastest I’ve ever done it is 10 minutes, but I generally ready in 20-30mins.’
