A family of asylum seekers have gone missing from a Stockport hotel, with police desperately trying to locate them.
The mother named Shelan and her two children Anas and Sana vanished over a week ago from the Britannia Hotel in Stockport.
Authorities say the last time they were seen at the premises, which is approved to house asylum seekers, was on April 5 at 4.30pm.
Police issued passport photos of the trio this morning, who they admit could now have traveled outside of the county.
A source told MailOnline: ‘They are a family of asylum seekers.

‘There is not any criminal element to it, but the authorities just want to find out where they are.

‘Realistically they could be anywhere in the UK.’
In November last year it was reported an unnamed hotel housing asylum seekers had faced a scabies outbreak and claims were made of ‘inhumane treatment’.
Stockport Council said people were ‘cooped up’ for a number of months.

At the time Human rights charity Rapar said piles of rubbish were left in corridors and insects were found in food.
Serco, which runs the hotel, had said there were ‘currently no cases of scabies’.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: ‘Can you help police find a missing family from Stockport?
‘Shelan and her two children were last seen at the Britannia Hotel, Stockport on April 5 at 4.30pm.
‘It is believed the family are travelling across the UK.’
