A dead body has been found inside a freezer of a fast food sandwich restaurant in America.

The body was discovered by employees of an Arby’s restaurant chain in Lousiana, United States, at around 6pm on Thursday.

Footage shows several police cars and officers outside the restaurant as they work to find out what led to the discovery.

Crime scene tape also blocked the entrance to the Arby’s and an investigator in white overalls was stood outside, according to the U.S. Sun.

No information about the victim was immediately available and the death is under investigation.

New Iberia Police Department Sergeant Daesha Hughes told the U.S. Sun: ‘The New Iberia Police Department responded to the business of Arby’s located on East Admiral Doyle Drive at approximately 6.20pm in reference to a body found inside of a freezer. The death is suspicious and being investigated.’

One Twitter user said: ‘No for real Arby’s, people need to know what is going on.’
