The grandfather of murdered JJ Vallow said he ‘looked forward’ to getting back in the courtroom as Lori Vallow‘s disturbing murder trial headed into its third day.
Larry Woodcock seemed to be in better spirits Wednesday, the day after he wept through harrowing proceedings as images of JJ, who was adopted by Vallow, and his sister’s decomposed remains were shown to the court.
‘We thank y’all for y’alls coverage,’ he told reporters outside Fremont County Courthouse in Idaho. ‘We will be here today all day, and we’ll be here tomorrow, and the next day, next week and the week after that.’
The grandfather also bizarrely announced that the hearing fell on his 76th birthday, again cheerfully thanking those heading into Vallow’s blockbuster murder trial.

Larry Woodcock, right, told reporters he was ‘looking forward’ to entering the courthouse, two days after his wife Kay, left, gave blockbuster testimony
The 76-year-old’s bizarre appearance outside the courthouse came two days after his wife Kay Woodhouse testified that she found troubling Amazon searches made on Charles Vallow’s Amazon account months after he died.
Vallow used the Amazon account to shop for wedding clothes and a ring for her marriage to doomsday prepper Chad Daybell, the trial heard on its first day.
The searches, which included ‘beach wedding dress’, a bathing suit, a malachite ring and men’s clothing, came just days before they allegedly orchestrated the murder of Daybell’s wife and the mother of his five children, Tammy.
Vallow and Daybell allegedly murdered two of her children, Joshua Jackson ‘JJ’ Vallow, seven, and Tylee Ryan, 16, after claiming they were ‘dark’ and ‘possessed’. They are also accused of the murder of Tammy Daybell, 49.
The couple went on to marry in Hawaii less than two weeks after Tammy died – in a ceremony that included the malachite ring and other items named in the Amazon searches.

Kay Woodcock, depicted in a courtroom sketch, told the court Monday that she found disturbing Amazon shopping searches on Vallow’s deceased husband’s account

Lori Vallow, 49, had been due to stand trial alongside her husband Chad Daybell, 54, but their cases were separated earlier this month
Woodcock was able to access the Amazon account after using a password her brother had shared with her before he died to log into his email account. She also took possession of some of his electrical devices after he died.
Woodcock said she discovered the searches on a morning in November 2019 after she woke up at 4.30am through ‘divine intervention’ and was using her brother’s electronic devices when she realized she could access his accounts.
She also became emotional as she was shown a picture of JJ while giving her testimony.
She said that after Charles Vallow died, Lori Vallow ‘didn’t want anything to do with him anymore’. After Woodcock’s contact with JJ stopped in August 2019, she hired a private investigator to try and track down her grandson.
He was later reported missing and JJ and Tylee’s remains were found in a shallow grave in Daybell’s backyard in June 2020.
Woodcock also revealed in her harrowing testimony that Vallow was once a ‘doting mom’ to JJ and Tylee. She remembered Vallow as a ‘doll’ who was ‘very engaged’ in caring for her kids several years before she allegedly killed them.
