A woman who miraculously woke up from a coma after being involved in a terrifying car accident has a long road to recovery.
Adelaide woman Georgina Coventry was sped to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and is now under the care of a number of specialists after the crash left her with devastating injuries.
Five specialist teams including trauma, ophthalmology, neuro, spinal and a plastic surgery unit will be needed to nurse Ms Coventry back to health.
Her friends and family launched a GoFundme for Ms Coventry on Tuesday, calling for donations to hep her get back on her feet.
The fundraising page has already been a huge success, raising more than $9,000 since it started.

Thousands of dollars have been raised thus far with all proceeds going to Ms Coventry’s ongoing medical costs since waking up

‘If you don’t know Georgina she is a generous, gorgeous, wonderful, fun loving person who brings love and happiness to any situation and makes everyone smile and laugh,’ Mr Cameron told The Advertiser.
‘$3,000 dollars will be for accommodation for her family to stay in Adelaide close to Georgina and away from their work.’
