Wallis, Duchess of Windsor born Bessie Wallis Warfield later Simpson was an American Socialite and former wife of King Edward VIII. Their marriage led to Edward’s abdication because Wallis was a divorcée. Wallis owned some intellectual properties which included estates. Prince Williams inherited an estate worth 1 billion Dollars from Wallis and her other estates were not inherited but they were rather for sale.

Her parents were Teackle Wallis Warfield and Alice Montague. She was born on June 19, 1896, in Square Cottage, Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania. Wallis’s uncle paid her fees to attend the most expensive girls’ school in Maryland.

She married three times while she lived, and they were Earl Winfield Spencer Junior(1916-1927), Ernest Aldrich Simpson(1928-1937), and finally Prince Edward, Duke of Windsor(1937 died in 1972).

There are no claims of being a child of Wallis because she had none. Wallis died at her home in Bois de Boulogne, Paris on April 24, 1986, at age 89. She was buried beside her husband, Edward at the Royal Burial Ground.
