Roy Halston Frowick is an American fashion designer who got to the international level in the 1970s. Halston was born on April 23, 1932, in Des Moines, Lowa, U.S. Halston was worth 100 million Dollars when he died at the age of 57 in 1990, he also owned an estate. It is not known to the public who inherited his money but before his death, he sold one of his estates to Gianni Agnelli for 5 million Dollars.
The designer was the second son of James Edward Frowick and Hallie Mae. He graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School and shortly attended Indiana University.

Roy further enrolled in a night course at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago in 1952.

The fashion designer got famous after he designed a pillbox hat worn by Jacqueline Kennedy to her husband’s Presidential inauguration in 1961.
He died of HIV AIDS in 1990 after he tested positive in 1988.
