Gucci is an Italian leading brand when it comes to fashion in the world. The company was established by Guccio Gucci in 1921, in Florence, Tuscany. As of 2019, the company had employed 17, 157 workers. They produce handbags, clothes (both genders), footwear, and home decorations. The grandson of Guccio, Maurizio Gucci, inherited the company when Guccio died. In March 1995, Maurizio was shot in a lobby for the Gucci Millan office and after him, Domenico De Sole, the legal adviser of the Gucci company since the 1980s became the CEO of the company in 1994.
The Gucci company is owned by an Italian family named Gucci, and they claim their origin is rooted in the merchant city of Florence in Italy as far back as 1410.

At a point in the management of the company Maurizio tried to sell some shares in the company, and also withheld 50% of it and this is one of the reasons why the family took the position from him.

Maurizio was killed by a hitman hired by his ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani. The daughters of Maurizio, Alessandra, and Allegra Gucci acquired their father’s 400 million net worth and their mother was jailed for 16 years.
According to Guinness World Records, in 1974, The Model 2000 Gucci watch broke a record of selling over 1 million units in two years. Gucci also designed the most expensive pair of jeans named ” Genius Jeans” which was sold at 3,134 Dollars in Milan in 1998 under Domenico.
